So, At the urging of my partner, who checks my profile more often than I do these days, here's an updated journal. Not much new to report (photography-wise). things over at HDR-Club (https://www.deviantart.com/hdr-club) have slowed down (see - deteriorated) drastically since the dA Groups shift. This is my fault, as I've been focusing on a whole whack of different things these days. Also, seeing those numbers of requests piling up causes me anxiety, and procrastinating is a thing I do. It's not that I've gotten lazy. Quite the opposite, in fact. While I have not been taking too many shots of late (still editing stuff from 2009), I've been keeping quite, quite busy (certain individuals can back me up here). Work is not a mess. It's busy, and that's how it should be. Getting in shape took a while, and there's still more to come, but it's worth it. It's good to work hard and play harder. It's nice to maintain a little mystery in life. It's fun not to feel one needs to give a crap about so many little things. It is possible to have fun, and yet be responsible. Yes I'm been becoming stagnant with HDR-Club (https://www.deviantart.com/hdr-club) since the groups conversion. It's not because I don't like it or because my heart isn't there. I guess it's been a simply a little break. The club basically runs itself, which has allowed me to try getting on top of other things going on. Admittedly, though, it would be a little livelier with more active participation from myself. That'll be a goal in the next few weeks.
