Ok Well, I have a few statements to make:
1- I admit that I love the sport of
curling. Yes, it does involve throwing 40lb stones down a sheet of ice in a glorified game of shuffle-board. But it's so much more than that! It's a strategy game, a game of finesse and touch. And holy hell is it exciting to see our Canadians steal points when they don't have the hammer!!
2- The most fun part of the Olympics (curling aside) were the uniforms...During the opening ceremonies I compiled a list of garments worn by national teams which I am determined to get my hands on. They are as follows:
-The pants of the Azerbaijan team;
-The pants of the Czech team;
-The Irish uniform in its entirety;
-The pants of the Dutch team;
-The scarves of the Slovakian team;
-The
pants of the Norwegian men's curling rink.
By the way, the the Norwegian's pants just rocked. To any Norwegian readers, please pass it on that I salute them.
3- My journals are becoming fewer and far-between. All apologies and junk. Running the club and still trying to complete my Muskoka trip pictures is taking up time. Luckily our good friends here at dA are improving the Groups application really nicely.
And now for FEATURES. It's nice to just pick through the
s folder for exceptional work.

Finally, to my friends who had to had to endure my curling-watching these past two weeks. Thank you for putting up with my constant gasps and dorky love of the sport.
