The Alexandra bridge is, according to Wikipedia ([link]) a 'steel truss cantilever bridge', finished in 1900, which connects the city of Ottawa to Gatineau. It's a focal point on the Ottawa River given its amazing detail. In the 1950s the bridge, originally used for rail service, was converted to an all-vehicle format, thus the beauty seen today. At night the colors that make up the bridge really come out. Enjoy!
Thankies. The originals had a fence in the way, since there's a small fifty foot drop just on the other side of the fence. However, there's a four foot ledge just to the other side of the fence, so I told the friend I was with to spot me for falling or police as I set up the tripod on this little ledge. It was loads of fun. Not getting caught was even more fun .
Thankies for the fav luv.
